The twisty shape of the sculpture portrayed the twisty journey experienced by the Kadoorie brothers from the early 1950’s until now. It also resembled the twisty roads meandering throughout the hillside of the site. The top of the sculpture is double apex, which portray the double pagoda located at the summit of Kadoorie Farm.
