Artist Biography

Trained as a Civil and Structural Engineer and graduated at the Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Continuous Studies with a Professional Diploma in Arts Design, and has completed the Art Specialist (Sculpture) course.

My artwork has been exhibited in Aberdeen Praya Garden, Youth Square, A-Link Gallery, Fringe Club, Cyberport Arcade, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, Shek Kip Mei Phase 5 Public Arena, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, Yuen Long Town Hall as well as participated in major shows like Detour, Fotanian, Sculpture of Hong Kong Sea and Hong Kong Sculpture Symposium.

I was born to a middle income family of four children in the 1960s in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.  My father was a soccer player when I was young and hanged his boots at around age 35, became a taxi driver until retirement around 60. He rested in peace at the age of 86. My mom was a homemaker, and later in her 40’s she took over my grandmother’s cigarette stall in front of Alexander House in Central. I love them both dearly.  I have studied, lived and worked in Canada for 10 years.  I live in south Lantau Island, Hong Kong which I truly enjoy the landscapes and great outdoor activities such as watersports and trail running.
