Artist Statement

Confucius said:

            “The intellectuals love the stream,

             the selflessness loves the mountain”,

               (Analects of Confucius)

​孔子曰：

            「智者樂水，仁者樂山。」

                                                     ＜論語。雍也＞

​The movement of water in a stream resembles the movement of knowledge and wisdom. The height of the mountain resembles the broadness of the heart and selflessness. The moment we understand the aliveness of the mountain and stream, the moment we understand ourselves better.

水的流動像智慧的流動，山的高大起伏像仁者的廣闊胸懷。
甚麽時候我們把身邊的山水看懂了，也就把自己看懂了。
